Hey cyberpunk fans! What follows below is a very simple breakdown of the 10 episodes of The God That Died. There are many names of people and places mentioned. EPISODE 1 – The Return of Haze
A robot drags itself across blasted landscapes; Refuge-1 looms in the distance. The Mekrom attack the city. Emanon is called up, but her father intervenes. Soleilla is reborn and EmBo Code carves a swathe of death and destruction through the city. In Tantrus, Coi and Gummy Dan are exposed to Haze. The city goes on lockdown. At MassInc-1, the rebellion rescue the wrong prisoner. Emanon and her father argue about her absenteeism and extra-curricular activities.
EPISODE 2 – Survival Day
Odwon Ku investigates the living art phenomenon at the Tomb of the Anti-Humanity. Fire Storm Hades hits the city, delaying Survival Day. Emanon flirts with Killion Blaze. Survival Day is terror bombed. DAK arrests Odwon Ku. The Upgrade Life campaign kicks off.
EPISODE 3 – The Last City On Earth
The Fountain of Love runs dry, Cheko Das investigates. Emanon and Damrion Sun meet. At the party, Chaz suddenly dematerializes. In his place, a FingerCat Unity status display: “Host not found.”
Edone awakes deep in the under city. She remembers things she shouldn’t remember… she is haunted by nightmares. Syllell’s new art piece triggers the EmBo Code lodged in Soleilla’s heart. Thousands die. The public blames Syllell and she is sentenced to serve in the war.
Emanon, defuses a riot, becoming a sensation in the Swae.
EPISODE 4 – Freedom is an Upgrade
Bernd Ono is summoned for inquisition. He attempts to escape the city but Emanon catches him. Ono curses Builder society as a lie.
Felaani-Tron goes to check on Chaz. But there is no Chaz. Felaani-Tron and Damrion are taken by Deadatron AK.
Haze Cat nurses Soleilla back to health. Soleilla teaches Coi how to frag an ectype. Haze Cat is arrested, but is rescued by Soleilla. She says goodbye for good.
EPISODE 5 – The God That Died
Emanon witnesses Builder navy ships murder Damrion and Felaani-Tron. Underground, she meets Haze Cat and Edone. They’ve all seen the same bunker in Edone’s memories.
Overseer Kader summons General Siwallace to discuss his daughter. Emanon and her allies must steal a navy shuttle. Mo Danger and Ohmium Prime create a distraction at the Hall of Heroes. Pandemonium ensues.
EPISODE 6 – The Love is Gone
Emanon, Edone and Haze Cat fly to the bunker. A Builder navy ship arrives… Overseer Kader decides it’s time to bring Emanon into the fold. Soleilla encounters Deadatron AK in an Organic Sovereignty Movement riot, and flees in terror. The Fountain of Love is dry. But, worry not, citizens! The Parade of Plenty offers free food, sex, and upgrades for all!
Emanon confronts Oren and is brought before Overseer Kader.
EPISODE 7 – Kaiju Riot
Kader tells Emanon the truth. Refuge One is doomed. Only the Builders can save humanity. Emanon leads an incursion into the under-city. General Siwallace and Overseer Kader see her die.
Edone hears Haze Primordial calling. In a powerful Haze field, hell is unleashed.
In the Kaiju Battle Arena, the last two battle droids break down and a riot erupts. The rioters meet the Parade of Plenty. The resulting chaos augmented by the wails of air raid sirens.
EPISODE 8 – Vengeance of the Gods
In the under-city, the “AI God” awakens in a vengeful mood.
Kader’s plan to trap Soleilla backfires as EmBo Code is unleashed. In the smoldering aftermath Soleilla locks onto the Haze signature she’s been seeking out.
Martial law is declared, the citizenry mind-locked. Kader orders the Ark fuelled.
EPISODE 9 – End of Worlds
The rebels flee to MassInc-1, deploying the fog of war. When the prisoners of MassInc-1 awaken, T’Mond tells them the truth of the past.
Soleilla appears and sentences the “slayer of humanity” to death. T’Mond submits to the sentence willingly.
EPISODE 10 – The Child Is You
The truth of the Builder plan is revealed. The rebellion and inmates of MassInc-1 break Kader’s mind-lock. T’Mond tells the city the truth of the past, present and future.
Kader activates his doomsday weapon and tasks the entire navy to attacking Refuge One.
Kader, the Beatitude, and Chosen Companions flee to the Ark…
